I hand make each to be the finest handcrafted leather dog collars and leashes in a variety types of genuine leathers and unique designs on the market today. All leather dog products are made in my shop in Wilmington North Carolina. I do not mass produce my products and sell to a few selected specialty dog boutiques and from our site online. Each and every piece is a work of art that can take all the abuse an active dog can give it. Once you hold one of my pieces in your hand you understand the classic elegance. My products are designed to give the maximum life and comfort for your best friend.
As with all About Us My story goes back to the hay day of Woodstock in the late sixties. My family had a fine leather goods manufacturing company in New York and as a teenager I began by making guitar straps and hand-tooled belts for aspiring and accomplished musicians and others in and around the area. After growing up in the industry I moved on to other professional careers and ended up in the entertainment industry. Always missing working with my hands and the ability to create something I came back to my roots. I decided to combine my love of dogs with my talent to create fine leather dog collars and leashes and walla Handcrafted Dog Collars was created.
I can produce any of our products in any number of all leathers using the most unique exotic leathers. Nothing is finer than a collar made from genuine horn back alligator, stingray, ostrich leg, ostrich quill shark or vegetable tanned cowhides. Each and every piece carries a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We use only the finest hardware of solid brass or stainless that does not rust or corrode or cause skin allergies and our collars and leash handles are padded for comfort. All our designs have been tested from the Northeastern mountains snow storms and city streets to Eastern North Carolina beaches and marshes and withstood extreme abuse with flying colors.
