Each "Geno" Ostrich is a hand-made by me with the quality of the finest leather goods. Soft and supple this handcrafted custom leather dog collar is sleek, lightweight, easily adjustable, and wonderful to the touch. The available engraved brass side release buckle is personalized with your dogs name and telephone number. It has our uniquely exclusive leather padded deerskin for comfort and leather end tabs. We install a solid brass D-ring reinforced and hand stitched to the collar and Chicago screws to assure a long life. When each collar is made, I treated it with leather conditioners and a special silicone to protect it from water. In addition, we provide a free complementary leather care kit to help insure a long lasting leather dog collar that only gets better with time. The "Geno" can be easily cleaned and treated with Obenauf's Water Shield to protect it if best friend goes swimming with it on. Just air dry it and rub some Obenauf's and it's as good as new. The "Geno" is named in honor of my Dad who taught me the fine art of leather craftsmanship and instilled in me the values I hold today, including the pleasure of having dogs in my life. He always had a pet name for my dogs such as "junkyard dog" for a little dog who resembled Toto from the Wizard of Oz who adopted us. One of his greatest pleasures was when we gave him his chocolate lab named " Mocha". He and Mocha would go to hospitals and nursing homes to entertain the elderly and infirmed. That is where you see the love a dog can spread. By the way - Mocha wears a custom "Geno" today and loves it.
