Ostrich is so beautiful, extremely supple, rare and extraordinarily tough due the natural oils which prevent cracking and from becoming stiff. This make ostrich as one the finest leathers in the world. It is one of the most durable leathers.

When laying out the collar and leash will include quills and flat sections of the hides. This give the pieces a unique and interesting patterning. I design all straps to have turn edges giving a very clean edge and helping to make the collar and leash exceedingly soft.
